Starrett Machinist's Levels

Features:

• Ground and graduated main vial.
• 12" model has ground single plumb vial.
• Main vials are adjustable.
• Bases are accurately machined and finished on bearing surface.
• An involute longitudinal groove between bearing flats provides seating on round work.
• With the cross test level, it is impossible to level simultaneously in both directions by canting the level sideways on round work. This prevents inaccuracies in main vial rading. Cross test vial on all except 4" model(10-978-5).
• 6", 8" and 12" models have graduations that are approximately 80-90 seconds or 0.005" per foot.
