Flexbar AUTOCRETE, Hi-Temp Ceramic Adhesive

Hi-Temp Ceramic Adhesive
It's easy to use and it's Sodium free! Superior electrical insulation properties. Self-Curing Ceramic Adhesive,Coating and Filler. Conducts heat. (High heat conductivity). Resists thermal shock and ultra-high temperatures. High temperature strength and stability. Provides optimum dielectric strength, is moldable. Finer, more uniform particle size distribution.
GOOD TO UP TO 3000°F FOR USE IN:Lamps, appliances, heater, furnaces, resistors, and elements. AUTOCRETE is a white, odorless powder that, when mixed with water, delivers outstanding bonding characteristics ideally suited to applications that demand superior electrical insulation properties.

TO MOLD AUTOCRETE: Mold must be of dense and inert plastic such as nylon, polyethylene, etc.

SETTING: Air dry or bake for maximum performance. The initial chemical set begins within 2 hours of the time water is added to the dry powder, and it continues until the mixture is completely dry. Normally, this takes 24 hours - but the time may vary, depending on the amount of water used, the thickness of the cement to be dried, and atmospheric conditions. Curing time can be shortened by placing the mixture in a low temperautre oven set at 185°F. When followed by firing at 2000°F, a better bond will develop, and moisture resistance will be improved. Firing to at least 2000°F results in maximum product performance. Maximum service temperature 3000°F.

BONDING: AUTOCRETE can be poured, dipped, or brushedinto place - in coating, potting, and sealing applications. Thoroughly clean the surfaces that are to be bonded together, and use only a thin coating of cement for best results. If possible, roughen very smooth surfaces before bonding them.

MIXING: Mixing is quick and easy: simply combine 12 to 16 parts of water (depending on your application requirements) to 100 parts of AUTOCRETE (by weight), and stir vigorously to a creamy, consistent texture. Mix all the water and all the AUTOCRETE together at once: do not add water gradually. And do not add more water as the mixture thickens; if you do, you will weaken the cement.
