Cyclone Abrasive Blasting Media
Sandblast abrasive media is what gets the work done when you combine the abrasive with a blasting system. The abrasive strikes the surface and removes material from your part(s). Within each abrasive description you can also find helpful MSDS information regarding safety surrounding each media type.
Glass Beads
Available in a wide range of sizes, glass beads are generally the most popular blast media used in cabinets today. This all-purpose media is used for honing, polishing, peening, blending, finishing, removing light burrs, frosting glass and cleaning most light foreign matter. Paint, rust, scale and surface residues are some of the common removal uses. Glass bead blasting generally will not change dimensional tolerances and can detect weld and solder flaws.
Features:
- No checical interference
- Moderate wear cycle
- Spherical shape
- Recyclable depending upon use
Blasting Garnet
Derived from a natural mineral, this abrasive is quick and clean and has minimal impact on the surface of the parts.
