Fullerton Aluma Mill - 38372
For High Speed Machining of Aluminum
Series 3815 & 3825 - 2 Flute
- The Series 3815 revolutionized the milling of aluminum and non-ferrous materials when introduced. With its aggressive flute design and corner chamfer it produces maximum stock removal at eye opening speeds and feeds.
- The Series 3825 was later introduced with a slightly less aggressive flute design but works well where a square corner is required.
Series 3835 - 3 Flute Aluma-Mill
- The three flute Aluma-Drill with designed for improved finishes with slightly decreased chip loads in aluminum and non-ferrous materials.
Start machining at 50% of the suggested feed rates and slowly increase to the suggested feed rates. As rigidity and other variables may affect tool performance and life. Generally the above feed rates are applicable for machining a slot at a depth equal to the diameter to the diameter of the tool. For a deeper cut, feed rates will need to be decreased. Profile Milling: When using full cutting length, maximum radial depth is 50% of tool diameter. Slot Milling: Maximum depth of cut is = to tool diameter. Speeds & Feeds Formulas RPM = S.F.M./ Diameter x 3.82 I.P.M. = RPM x F.P.T. x 4
